Biological infusion therapy for cancer treatment
The biological infusion therapy is a central important therapeutic element in the naturopathic treatment of cancer. It supports the self-healing powers of the organism and is one of the gentle, low side effects, but extremely effective forms of complementary medicine therapy. At Arcadia Praxisklinik, we use the power of medicinal plants, vitamins and natural active ingredient complexes in high doses through infusion solutions produced according to individual prescriptions for sustainable cancer therapy.
Strengthening the body’s defenses with natural infusions
Biological infusion therapy combines the scientifically proven healing powers of vitamins, minerals, trace elements, amino acids and medicinal plants with the principles of classical infusion treatment, which ensures that the drugs are safely absorbed in sufficiently high doses.
This form of therapy can be used in many ways: for various chronic diseases, but also in cancer therapy. It serves to strengthen the immune system, to improve the bioterrain in our organism and is also suitable for prevention and prophylaxis.
Highly dosed biological agents support the regeneration in case of cancer
Biological infusion therapy can be used in cancer therapy in many ways. For example, accompanying chemotherapy, but also for the aftercare of tumor diseases. The necessary regeneration of the body is supported by the special complex of active ingredients.
For the infusion therapy at Arcadia Praxisklinik we use various biological drugs:
High-dose vitamin C
Chinese mugwort (Artemisia annua)
Extracts from the incense bush boswelia acids)
Extracts from green tea (e.g.: the epi-gallo-cathecine-gallate)
Extracts from ginger (such as 6-shagoal)
Curcumin from the spice plant Curcuma longa.
The effective medication: directly and precisely administered by infusion
Many of the drugs we use are administered as infusions directly into the vein. Port systems are also ideally suited for intravenous administration. The drugs and active ingredients can thus exert their effect in maximum concentrations in the blood or the diseased organ. This high concentration, and thus efficacy, cannot usually be achieved by oral administration. At Arcadia Praxisklinik we develop an individual infusion therapy plan for our patients, tailored to their personal needs and requirements.
Infusion therapy
Computer-controlled machines precisely set the dose and duration of an infusion. With these, the dose and duration of an infusion can be set exactly and precisely. Which combination of drugs is administered for individual cancer treatment can be determined after a precise examination and additional diagnostics.
Interesting facts about infusion therapy for cancer
Antioxidants play an important role in cancer therapy. Gluthation is called the “master antioxidant” by many because it can have a very strong antioxidant effect.
Antioxidants, which are best ingested daily with our food, can protect healthy cells and neutralize so-called free radicals, which are produced, for example, by toxic exposure or radiation or chemotherapy. Very well-known antioxidants are various vitamins such as A, C, E, the mineral selenium and the natural active ingredient glutathione described here.
Gluthation – Detoxification and Cell Activation
Glutathione has as a special ability to strengthen the liver function and enable a comprehensive detoxification of the body. This is just as important in pain syndromes as it is in states of exhaustion and of course in cancer. The body is relieved, the activity of the defense cells is increased and healthy tissue is protected.
Combination treatments are useful
Glutathione has a particularly beneficial effect when combined with other measures. These include liver supporting diet, “natural” pure water, liver wraps, teas and specific therapies such as heat treatments, magnetic field therapies and more.
Originally, the drug dichloroacetate (DCA) was used to treat rare metabolic disorders (lactic acidosis) in children. Then a research team from Canada found out that DCA can also be used in the treatment of cancer. DCA acts mainly as an activator of the energy production in the mitochondria, which is disturbed in cancer cells. As we know, cancer cells do not use the normal metabolic pathway in their mitochondria to make energy from food and oxygen, but they ferment sugar without oxygen. As a result, they lose a lot of usable energy and enter into a primitive survival metabolism. DCA can, at least partially, restore a disturbed mitochondrial function. Thus, the natural death of a cell (called apoptosis) can take place again. DCA therefore has a repairing effect on the cancer cells, or, as the expert says: re-differentiating. It makes sense to combine DCA with other methods that work in the same direction, such as dietary change to a low-carb diet and accompanying treatments with hyperthermia, etc.
Intravenous oxygen therapy (Oxyven) – using oxygen to effectively inhibit inflammation and promote blood circulation
A special form of oxygen therapy is oxyvenation according to Dr. H. Regelsberger, which has been part of naturopathy since the 1960s and has been used over 100,000 times since then. Smallest amounts of oxygen are administered intravenously in order to trigger an anti-inflammatory and blood circulation-promoting effect in the patient. The resulting approx. 8-fold increase in the production of the blood circulation-promoting hormone prostacyclin leads to a significant vasodilatation and improvement of the blood circulation in the entire body. In addition, a shift of certain white blood cells (eosinophils) from the tissues into the blood is increased, which contributes to a significant anti-inflammatory effect. This also counteracts the formation of thromboses and the inner balance of our immune system can be significantly improved overall.
Wide range of applications of intravenous oxygen therapy for various chronic diseases and cancer
It is understandable that intravenous oxygen therapy has a beneficial effect on all diseases associated with chronic oxygen deficiency. This is the case with circulatory disorders, potency disorders, states of exhaustion, sleep disorders, neurodermatitis and other skin diseases, polyneuropathies, memory disorders, stroke consequences, high blood pressure, heart attack consequences, sudden hearing loss and dizziness, tinnitus and even macular degeneration. In the case of cancer, oxyvenation is suitable as an accompanying treatment in tumor therapy and also to reduce the side effects of chemotherapy or radiation treatment.
The treatment is carried out while lying down. The supply of oxygen is done through a very thin cannula, so that the puncture is hardly noticeable. The duration of treatment is 10 minutes at the beginning and up to 30 minutes later. After the treatment, a short resting period must be observed. A treatment series usually comprises approx. 10 to max. 20 infusions.
Ozone therapy – Ozone has a disinfecting, blood circulation-promoting, activating, regenerating effect
Ozone (O3), as a 3-atomic oxygen compound, is particularly high-energy and reactive. In medical applications, ozone is known for its disinfecting properties, it has bactericidal, virus-killing and fungicidal effects. Not least for this reason, it is used for wound disinfection and for various skin diseases. Ozone stimulates blood circulation, activates and regenerates the immune system. In many chronic diseases, this effect is a very important element in restoring the inner terrain and the immunological balance so that immune functions are supported. Therefore, treatment with ozone has been an integral part of complementary medicine for a long time.
In addition to the external wound treatment and the rectal administration of ozone, we particularly use the “major autologous blood treatment” with ozone as a complementary treatment in cancer therapy. Here, 100-200 ml of blood in a vessel are mixed with 2- 5 mg ozone and then infused back into the bloodstream. It is combined with profit e.g. with high-dose vitamin C infusions. An improvement of the general condition can often be observed after a few treatments. We would be pleased to advise you on which other diseases this method could be usefully applied.
Hardly any other agent in biological cancer therapy has caused as much controversy as “vitamin B17”, which has also become known as Laetrile or Amygdalin. The exact name is Laevo-mandelonitrile-beta-glucuronoside. It has been in use since the 1970s, but apart from much practical experience, there are only a few studies that have proven its effectiveness. We therefore prefer other biological cancer drugs to amygdalin and therefore use it only in special cases and after individual consideration.
Some background about nitriles, what they are and how their effects are thought
The seeds of many pome and stone fruits have a high content of bitter substances, especially apricot kernels. If these bitter substances are analyzed, it is found that they contain a high percentage of cyan compounds. These cyan compounds are nitriles, i.e. organic compounds with a CN group. Nitriles themselves have no toxic effect, only by splitting the molecule is HCN, i.e. prussic acid, released. Like so many other substances in nature that can have a strong toxic effect, nitriles are also used for healing purposes.
In simple terms, vitamin B17 seems to work in the following way:
it is split in the body by ß-glucosidase to form prussic acid, which is detoxified by the body cells through the enzyme rhodanase (also called thiosulfate-cyanide transsulfurase). Cancer cells, which are similar to very simple embryonic cells, have less rhodanase and are therefore damaged by high doses of prussic acid, which they cannot detoxify. We do not recommend oral forms of amygdalin, as they are not expected to have a significant effect in the blood or tumor areas.
Curcuma, the turmeric: well-tried and newly researched.
The pronounced healing power of turmeric (Curcuma longa) was already highly valued in Ayurvedic medicine. The bile stimulating and metabolism promoting effect has also been successfully used in European medicine for centuries.
Curcumin infusions – effect scientifically proven
The active ingredient “curcumin” is the focus of many studies that continue to prove its curative effectiveness. However, it has only been possible to administer this active ingredient in the form of infusions for a few years now. We particularly appreciate curcumin infusions because of their multiple uses in oncology, although they can also be used for many other chronic diseases.
More and more new studies are proving the high efficacy of curcumin
It has also been shown that curcumin extracts have anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant properties as well as an antimicrobial effect that can therefore be successfully used against chronic infections, which are often also found in cancer. If vitamin D is administered at the same time as curcumin, these two active ingredients appear to complement and mutually reinforce each other in a favorable way.
Inflammation and hyperacidity are two of the most important causes of disease. Through the combination of an anti-inflammatory agent, procaine, with an alkaline carrier solution, sodium bicarbonate, we counter these disorders in a way that has become firmly established in naturopathy: with the procaine-base infusion.
Procaine is one of the drugs that have had a firm place in medicine for over 100 years due to its good effectiveness and tolerance. Procaine has become particularly well known through its application in neural therapy. In many scientific studies the excellent properties of this drug in the body have been proven. They consist in vasodilatation, anti-inflammatory, pain relief, an antioxidative effect and a balancing effect on the autonomic nervous system.
Sodium hydrogen carbonate is a base produced naturally in the body. Since ancient times, sodium salt (pure sodium hydrogen carbonate) has been taken to treat hyperacidity of the blood and tissue. Today, the intake of bases has been successfully used especially for digestive disorders, many chronic diseases and in biological cancer therapy.
Procaine-base infusions combine the good properties of both drugs in a meaningful way.
The de-acidification of the tissue is accelerated, the blood circulation is improved, chronically undersupplied, painful and irritated tissue is relieved and can regenerate; in addition, pain relief and relaxation via the vegetative nervous system can be achieved. This can override some of the main mechanisms that contribute to the development of chronic diseases and cancer.
Procaine-base infusions for cancer and other chronic inflammatory diseases.
Especially after chemotherapy and radiation therapy, the administration of procaine-base infusions has proven to be very effective. In such cases, there is very often a serious acidosis, especially of the tumorous tissue and also of the entire organism. This often manifests itself in pain, sensations, cramps, nausea, loss of appetite and tiredness.
Procaine-base infusions have positive results with rheumatic and chronic illnesses with chronic pain syndromes.
Chinese mugwort (Artemisia annua) has been used for centuries as a traditional remedy for infections. In 2015, the Nobel Prize for Medicine was awarded to the Chinese researcher Tu Youyou for her discovery of the active ingredient artemisinin from this medicinal plant as an anti-malaria remedy. But not only malaria sufferers can benefit from this discovery. Since 2005, an anti-cancer effect has also been known for the same active ingredient, which has since led to several hundred scientific publications on artesunate as an anti-cancer drug.
The complex mechanism of action destroys cancer cells by oxidation of iron-containing proteins inside them. Another pharmacological effect of artesunate is the inhibition of the formation of new blood vessels (neoangiogenesis) in their environment, which is stimulated by tumors to get more food. It is known that tumor cells that proliferate rapidly attract a lot of iron. This fact leads, among other things, to cancer patients developing anemia over time and feeling tired. In the case of treatment with artesunate, the iron stores in the body and in the cancer cells are usually replenished beforehand by giving iron infusions beforehand or in parallel to artesunate.
The intravenous administration of artesunate is uncomplicated and is usually very well tolerated. In the case of low blood values, a so-called anaemia, this must first be remedied before artesunate therapy can be started.
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is involved in many cell and tissue processes in the body. It is one of the antioxidants that is particularly effective in fending off and neutralizing so-called “free radicals”. These free radicals are particularly common in cancer and the associated metabolic disorders. In addition, vitamin C unfolds its beneficial effects in many different ways in the body’s hormonal regulatory system, where it is also indispensable.
Increased need for vitamin C – especially in cancer and other chronic diseases
It has long been known that patients with advanced cancer often have extremely low vitamin C levels in their blood. Surgical operations, radiation treatment and chemotherapy increase this deficit even further and weaken the body’s immune system in the long term. In this condition, a healthy and balanced diet is often no longer sufficient to remedy the deficiency. It then makes sense to provide the organism with targeted support in the form of high-dose vitamin C infusions.
